‘Lovely Trash’ screened for visually impaired moviegoer

‘Lovely Trash’ has been screened for visually impaired audience.

Directed by Mohsen Amir-Yousefi, the movie had a special screening for the visually impaired moviegoers in the presence of some top-notch thespians.

Supervised by ifilm star Gelareh Abbasi, the CEVINA group (Cinema for Visually Impaired Audience) ran the screening event with the aim to make people with blindness and vision impairment to be able to watch their favorite movies independently.  

Nima Raeesi, Amin Tarokh, Shabnam Moqaddami, Gelareh Abbasi and Habib Rezaee were the special guests of the event.

Shahab Hosseini, the star of ‘Lovely Trash’, also sent a video message to the audience.

‘Lovely Trash’ has a narrative related to some tensions in the Iranian political scene of some ten years ago.

It depicts the attempts made by a mother to help her daughter who has been arrested during unrest.

Hediyeh Tehrani, Saber Abar, Habib Rezaee, Negar Javaheriyan, Shahab Hosseini, Shirin Yazdanbakhsh, and Akbar Abdi are among the cast.
