US fest to host ‘Flying Fishes’

Iranian short film ‘Flying Fishes’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 2019 edition of Reading Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Mohammad Towrivarian, the short film will represent Iran at the American film event.

‘Flying Fishes’ is about a teacher who is new to a village. He notices that the only girl in his class does not talk and has cigarette burn on her skin.

The short has previously won the Best Film award at the VKRATZE International Film Festival in Russia.

Reading Film Fest was created by filmmakers for filmmakers and film lovers. The people behind the festival understand the importance of festivals in creating opportunities for filmmakers to meet their audiences, network with other professionals and promote their films.

The Reading Film Fest is scheduled to be held on October 31 – November 9, 2019, in Pennsylvania, the US.
