Five new movies have been set to enter the domestic Iranian home entertainment market as they obtained the required permit.
The comedy movies ‘Prisoners’ directed by Masoud Dehnamaki and ‘Four Fingers’ made by Hamed Mohammadi are among the titles that obtained the permit.
The other films are Saeed Roustaee’s ‘6.5 Per Meter’, a social drama that deals with the issue of drug abuse and addiction, and Soheil Beiraqi’s ‘Cold Sweat’ which is based on a true story about Afrouz Ardestani, the captain of Iranian women’s national futsal team.
‘Being Born’ directed by Mohsen Abdolvahhab is the other social drama set to enter the market. The film tells the story of a middle-aged couple who are faced with a certain dilemma in carrying on with their life.
