Tehran to celebrate National Theater Day

The Iranian capital city of Tehran is set to celebrate the National Theater Day during Iranian New Year (Nowruz) holidays.

The Center for Dramatic Arts will be celebrating the National Theater Day in Tehran on March 27.

This is the first year that Iran celebrates its National Theater Day which is concurrent with the World Theater Day which is celebrated annually around the world since 1961.

 Tehran City Theater Complex, Sangalaj Hall as well as Honar Hall will stage special performances during the holidays starting March 23.

More details on the performances will later be announced.
