Iranian television series on Iraq-Iran war has revealed the war drama’s latest onset photos.
Directed and produced by Alireza Sebt-Ahmadi, the series is currently undergoing filming in the pristine areas of the city of Khorramabad in Iran’s Lorestan province.
With only 15% of the filming process complete, the series will feature nearly 80 different shooting locations by the time it wraps up.
Set to be one of the largest television productions on the eight-year Iraq imposed war on Iran, the 26-part series, written by Nouhshin Pirhayati, depicts the story of the selfless sacrifices endured by the brave men and women of western Iran during the first years of the war.
With the latest addition to the series, Pouriya Poursorkh, replacing Rahim Norouzi as “Iraj”, other members of the cast include Majid Mozaffari as “Saleh Khan”, Fatemeh Goudarzi as “Da Gol”, Ali Dehkordi as “Dr. Houshang”, Jafar Dehqan as “Kakavand”, and Amir-Mohammad Zand as “Farhad”, who will be joined by over 100 other actors from the Iranian film industry.
