Georgia to screen 2 Iran animations

The 11th edition of the International Festival of Animated Films "TOFUZI" in Georgia has scheduled to screen two Iranian animations.

‘Sink’ by Mahboubeh Kalaee and ‘Stairs’ by Siamak Vahed will represent Iran at the Georgian event.

A short synopsis for ‘Stair’ reads, “The candle was flickering…I went outside and found myself on the stairs.”

To take part at the student competition section of the festival, 'Sink' follows dregs of coffee shaped like a man and a woman coming out of two cups left in the sink.

The TOFUZI aims to encourage the exchange of creative experiences, search of new ideas, styles and technologies.

The 11th TOFUZI is slated for October 21-26, 2019 in the city of Batumi, Georgia.
