‘Delirium’ to engulf Georgia

The 14th Batumi International Art-House Film Festival (BIAFF) in Georgia has set to host Iran’s short ‘Delirium’.

Directed by Vahid and Navid Nami, ‘Delirium’ will compete at the upcoming edition of the Georgian event which is set to kick off later this month.

The film narrates the story of a man who finds a cut ear during a rainy night.

‘Delirium’ attended several festivals, including the 19th Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival in Switzerland and the 23rd Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea.

Earlier reports said that Amir Gholami’s ‘The Sea Swells’ will vie at the same edition of the Georgian festival.

The Batumi International Art-House Film Festival is aimed to enhance cultural exchange, understanding, and collaboration through the screening of new art house-house and non-commercial films from Georgia and other countries, according to the BIAFF website.

The 14th edition of the BIAFF will be held on September 15-22, 2019.
