The 16th edition of the Tribeca Film Festival is to celebrate the 45th anniversary of ‘The Godfather’ directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
The festival has announced holding back to back screenings of ‘The Godfather’ and ‘The Godfather Part II’ on April 29th, 2017.
The screenings will be followed by a panel discussion with director Francis Ford Coppola and actors Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire and Robert De Niro.
The 2017 Tribeca Galas section includes as well the world premiere of James Ponsoldt’s thriller The Circle starring Tom Hanks and Emma Watson.
Other special screenings at the festival include: Joe Berlinger’s ‘Intent To Destroy’, Tabbert Fiiller’s ‘The Public Image Is Rotten’ and Ellen Goldfarb’s ‘Dare To Be Different’.
The 16th edition of the Tribeca Film Festival will be held in New York runs from April 19-30, 2017.
