‘Am I a Wolf?’ en route to Finland

‘Am I a Wolf?’ short film has been officially selected to go on screen at the 4th edition of Turku Animated Film Festival (TAFF) in Finland.

The 8-min short by Amir-Houshang Moein will experience its 15th international presence at the “PANORAMA 2” section of the Finnish screening event.

As put by the official website of the festival, ‘Am I a Wolf?’ is about a group of pupils performing “The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats”. But the child acting as the wolf feels lonely and irritated.

‘Am I a Wolf?’ is a recipient of various accolades from various global film festivals, including Best Short film Award from the 10th Int’l Animation Film Festival Golden Kuker - Sofia in Bulgaria, Child Dreams Prize at the 7th Insomnia Int’l Animation Film Festival in Russia, New Face Award at the 22nd Media Arts Festival in Japan and Best Animated Film at the 6th edition of the Tripoli Film Festival in Lebanon.

Turku Animated Film Festival is a fresh international film festival celebrating creativity and the art of animation.

TAFF seeks to promote animated film culture both in Finland and internationally and to create a platform for encounters between filmmakers, industry delegates and local lovers of animation.

The five-day event is scheduled for August 21-25, 2019 in Turku, Finland.
