Vocalist Kaveh Afagh to become actor

Young Iranian vocalist Kaveh Afagh is slated to star in new movie project ‘A Minor’.

Directed by Dariush Mehrjoui, the film will enjoy Afagh before the camera.

This is the first acting experience of the Iranian Rock star.

The screenplay for ‘A Minor’, Mehrjouee’s 26th film, was jointly written by the director himself and Vahideh Mohammadifar.

Before Afagh, Ali Nasiryan, Siamak Ansari, Mehrdad Seddighian and Pardis Ahmadieh had joined the project.

Also joining the filmmaking team will be producer Reza Dormishian who produced Mehrjouee’s dark comedy ‘The Orange Suit’.
