Iranian animation to vie in Georgia

Iranian animation ‘Under Influence’ is set to contend at the 11th TOFUZI International Festival of Animated Films in Georgia.

Directed by Maryam Amiri, the three minute short animated piece is a 2D film which delves into the world of decision making in children.

‘Under Influence’ will be joining four other Iranian animations at the festival’s lineup, namely ‘Sink’ by Mahboubeh Kalaee and ‘Stairs’ by Siamak Vahed.

With over 35 countries in attendance, the festival seeks to encourage the exchange of innovative experiences, search for new ideas, styles, and technologies while developing new partnerships.

The 11th edition of TOFUZI will be held on October 21-26 in Batumi, Georgia.
