‘Green, White, Red’ launches shooting

Director Mohammad-Hossein Latifi’s latest project ‘Green, White, Red’ begins filming immediately after being granted a production license.

Written by Peyman Abbasi and produced by Parviz Amiri, the film will be shot in about 42 sessions, according to the producer.

Additionally, with most of the shooting taking place in Iran, certain parts of the flick will be filmed in Turkey.

‘Green, White, Red’ is an action-thriller, themed around the Iranian flag, which tells the story of a group of young Iranian intellectuals who glorify their country through their achievements across the world.

Starring in the film will be Mehdi Soltani-Sarvestani, Bahareh Kian-Afshar, Nader Soleimani, Iraj Nozari, and Behnoush Bakhtiari, among others.

Latifi’s 11th feature film, ‘Green, White, Red’ will most likely be premiered at the 38th Fajr Film Festival in February 2020.

An award-winning director, Latifi began his film career in 1985 as a director’s assistant.

Many of the director’s television series have been featured on ifilm, namely ‘Chimney’, ‘Leila’s Loneliness’, ‘Made in Iran’, ‘Stairway to Heaven’, and ‘The Green Journey’.
