Italy to screen Iran-Italy’s ‘Bologna’

The 16th edition of the Sedicicorto International Film Festival in Italy has scheduled to screen Iranian-Italian short ‘Bologna’.

Directed by Arash Abbasi, the Iran-Italy co-production is about two Iranian girls who have to complete a task together in the Italian city Bologna.

The cast includes Minou Mirshahvalad and Farnaz Taheri. The short film is also written and produced by Abbasi.

The film has been accepted into the main competition section of the 16th Sedicicorto.

Abbasi is also a member of the jury panel at the Iranfest section of the Sedicicorto.

Launched in 2004, the Sedicicorto is held every year in October in the Italian comune of Forlì.

The event aims at offering visibility to young authors and presenting an opportunity of meeting and exchanging among film industry professionals.

The 16th Sedicicorto is slated for October 4 – 13, 2019.
