Iranian filmmaker Saman Hosseinpour has been named as a juror for the MikroFAF - International festival of DIY and independent short film in Serbia.
According to the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, Hosseinpour will serve on the jury at the 10th edition of the Serbian event.
Hosseinpour holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema Directing. He is also a Master’s student.
He has directed seven short films so far. His works have attended hundreds of international festivals.
The upcoming edition of the MikroFAF will host eight short films from Iran as well as 59 other films from Germany, the US, the UK, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, India, Denmark, Serbia, Singapore, North Macedonia, the Netherlands, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, France, Russia, Turkey, South Korea, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The 10th MikroFAF will take place in the Serbian city of Belgrade on October 10-13.
