The Religion Today Film Festival in Italy has set to screen award-winning Iranian documentary ‘Beloved’.

‘Beloved’ portrays the difficult yet favorable life of an 82-year-old mother named Firouzeh who runs a unique life in the Alborz Mountains in north Iran.

The film has so far attended a great number of film events, including the 2018 International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in the Netherlands and the 67th Trento International Film Festival in Italy where it won the jury special mention and a UNESCO honorable mention.
Founded in 1997, the Religion Today Film Festival was “the first event of its kind dedicated to dialogue between cinema and religions”, according the gala’s website.
The 22nd Religion Today Film Festival is slated for October 2-10, 2019.
