The first photo of Mahmoudi brothers’ new film ‘Dying in Holy Water’ has been revealed.
Directed by Navid Mahmoudi and produced by Jamshid Mahmoudi, ‘Dying in Holy Water’ narrates the story of some young Afghans who go from Iran to Europe.
The synopsis reads “Rona: Hamed, don’t fear the sea. If you are afraid of anything it’s more likely that it will happen to you. Hamed: I don’t.”
The cast of the film includes Ali Shadman, Neda Jebraeili, Matin Heidarnia, Sadaf Asgari, Sogol Khaliq, Alireza Ara, Amir-reza Ranjbaran, Khayam Vaqar and Peyman Moqadami, Mahtab Jafari, Farid Eshaqi, Mohaya Rezaei, Fatemeh Mirzaei,Alireza Mehran.
The filming is underway. Half of the production is done.
The crew is trying to finish the production prior to the 38th edition of Fajr Film Festival.
