The Special Mention of the 2019 Meet Film Festival has been presented to Iranian short film ‘Varahram’.
Directed and written by Mahdi Kamrani, the short tells the story of a young girl whose mother does not allow her to play with other children who play in the street. Even when going out, her mother locks her in the house.
Meet festival intends to make a bridge between schools and cinemas. It emphasizes on the use of multimedia for teaching and learning.
The fest provides the attendees with an opportunity to share their works and ideas on cinema, culture, education, training and youth.
The 5th edition of the fest was held on September 23-27 in Rome.
