Iranian short film ‘Souvenir’ has been selected to compete at the 6th edition of the Kolibri International Film Festival in Russia.
Directed by Bakhtiar Khalili, ‘Souvenir’ displays a window into rural life in the Iranian province of Kordestan.
The short narrates the story of a little boy in a remote village in Kurdistan who is trying to find a way to cure his mother’s headache. While searching for a solution, he is surprised by some unexpected happenings.
Kolibri intends to promote high-quality productions for children and adolescents.
The attendees can also participate in workshops on audiovisual analysis.
The fest is slated for October 7-13, 2019.
