ifilm TV to get ‘Factor 8’ underway

ifilm English TV has set to air the series ‘Factor 8’ from Tuesday night.

Directed by Reza Karimi, the series is scheduled to go on air from October 8, 2019.

In the series, Mahtab's son has a rare disease. She is a doctor herself, but the medicine her son needs, Factor 8, is in short supply in a country coping with economic sanctions imposed by the West.

She decides she has to facilitate the manufacturing of the drug inside the country herself, but she doesn't know how hard certain opportunists plan to make it for her.

Among the cast list are Setareh Eskandari, Behzad Khodaveisi, Pejman Bazeghi, Ladan Tabatabaee, Iraj Rad, Fariba Naderi, Kourosh Soleymani, Amir-Kaveh Ahaninjan, and the late Hassan Joharchi.

‘Factor 8’ produced in 2009, is to replace the series ‘Asleep and Awake’ to be broadcast at 22:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times). ‘Factor 8’ is comprised of 16 episodes.
