Iranian ‘Gray Body’ to vie in US

Iranian short animation ‘Gray Body’ has been set to attend the Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Samaneh Shojaee, the short animation has been picked to compete at the 15th edition of the American film event.

‘Gray Body’ narrates the story of a doctor who checks his patients calmly. The people he is visiting are some psychiatric patients who are waiting to see the doctor. What cannot be expected of these people is to keep calm.

The film has also been scheduled to compete at the ‘Animated Shorts’ section of the 30th New Orleans Film Festival in the US. The New Orleans event will be held on October 16-22, 2019.

Launched in 2005, the Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival is a platform for women filmmakers from around the world to share expertise in the business of filmmaking.

The 15th edition of the Los Angeles event is slated for October 17-20, 2019.
