Iranian maestro composing piece for ‘Atabay’

The Soundtrack for Iranian feature film ‘Atabay’ has launched music production stage.

Iranian maestro and internationally celebrated artist Hossein Alizadeh is in charge of music production for the film directed by Niki Karimi.

Alizadeh is a classical composer, researcher, teacher, and tar and setar (Persian instruments) player.

He has worked together with a number of top Iranian and international musicians, including his fellow celebrated vocalists Shahram Nazeri as well as Armenian musician and composer Djivan Gasparyan.

Along with winning some prestigious awards, the great artist has some Grammy Award nominations and a win in his resume.

ifilm viewers have heard some of his artistic creations in the works such as ‘The Song of Sparrows’, ‘In the eye of the Storm’ and ‘Under the Blade’.

Hadi Hejazifar, the star of ifilm feature ‘Standing in the Dust’ has penned the screenplay for the flick. Albeit, no details on the plot of this new cinematic production has been revealed yet.

Javad Ezzati, Sahar Dolatshahi, Danial Noroush and Hadi Hejazifar are some of the cast members of ‘Atabay’.

The film has been announced to be preparing to have its premiere at Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
