A batch of 6 Iranian films has been shortlisted to attend the 62nd edition of International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film in Germany.
The screening event encompasses several sections with Iranian titles to be in the running in three sections of the festival.
The ‘International Program’ section of Leipzig Fest will host three Iranian documentaries, including ‘None of your Business’ by Kamran Heidari, ‘Exodus’ by Bahman Kiarostami and ‘Katemeh’ codirected by Hadi and Mehdi Zarei.
‘Family Relations’ by Nasser Zamiri will also present Iran at ‘International Competition’ section of the event.
The list goes on with ‘Asho’ by Jafar Najafi and ‘Am I a Wolf’ by Amir-Houshang Moeen which will compete with 21 other titles at ‘International Competition Short Film’ section of the festival.
Founded in 1955, International Leipzig Festival is one of the oldest documentary festivals of the world that takes place every year.

The upcoming edition of the event is scheduled for October 28-November 3, 2019 in Leipzig, Germany.
