‘Dragon’s Tail’ shines in South Korea

Iranian short film ‘Dragon’s Tail’ has garnered the Best Asian Short Film Award at the BUSAN International Film Festival (BIFF) in South Korea.

It was the first presence of the short at an international festival.

“Poison got into his blood and made him savage”, the synopsis reads.

According to the festival’s website, the short is about “two teenage boys who make money by trafficking drugs skipping school. They are fed up with the selfishness of adults and the absurdity of society to take advantage of them”.

Founded in 1996, BIFF is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia which is held annually in Busan (also Pusan), South Korea. The fest aims to introduce new films and first-time filmmakers, especially those from Asian countries.

The 24th edition of the Busan is slated for October 3-12, 2019.PR/FM
