Queen Palm awards Iran ‘Fourteenth Day’

The 2nd edition of Queen Palm International Film Festival (QPIFF) in the US has awarded Iranian feature ‘Fourteenth Day’.

Written and directed by Mahmoud Nazeri and co-produced by Erfan Qasempour, the title received the Best Feature Film award at the Family/Inspirational/Faith section of the Queen Palm event.

‘Fourteenth Day’ tells the story of a woman, Elaheh Sabouri, who is working in the remote Iranian city of Asaluyeh.

Because of a change in her working conditions she has to choose between her family and working in the harsh and industrial area.

The flick’s cast list includes Maral Farjad, Shahram Abdoli, Mehdi Sabaee, Shaqayeq Norouzi, Saeed Dakh, Jalil Farjad, and Bahar Saberi.

The movie has so far taken part in a number of international film festivals.

The QPIFF 's mission is to discover diverse new voices and to promote artists' work through numerous platforms.

The QPIFF is a quarterly film, music, & screenwriting competition with a live Annual Screening and Awards Show Event in Palm Springs, California.

The QPIFF honors films from around the world with a vast array of awards in different categories and genres.

All quarterly winners receive a stunning certificate & laurels (We award Gold, Silver, Bronze, & Honorable Mention in each category) and all of our Gold winners are automatically entered into our Annual Competition & Awards Show Event held in beautiful Palm Springs, where they will compete for a chance to win a prestigious Queen Supreme trophy and other amazing prizes.
