Iranian short to arrive in Ireland

Iranian short film ‘Cleaner’ has been scheduled to screen at the Richard Harris International Film Festival in Ireland.

The 13-minute short directed by Mohammad-Reza Meyqani will be in competition at the 6th edition of the Irish film festival.

‘Cleaner’ is about a young maid who cleans bathrooms at a shopping mall. She seems to be impatient and worried to get the results of a test.

The screenplay for the flick has been developed by the director himself, and Baran Sarmadi has been in charge of the film’s production.

The Richard Harris International Film Festival honors the life and works of Richard Harris, a late prolific Irish actor and a two-time Academy Awards nominee.

The latest edition of the Irish film event is slated for October 22- 28, 2019.
