Five Iranian films have been announced among the 41st Atlanta Film Festival lineup of Feature and Short Films.
The films include ‘Cold Breath’ directed by Abbas Raziji in the Narrative Features section, ‘Atlan’ directed by Moein Karimoddini in the Documentary Features section, ‘The Silence’ directed by Ali Asgari and Farnoosh Samadi in the Narrative and Documentary section and ‘Nobody’ directed by Elham Toroghi and ‘Let the Past Go By’ directed by Maryam Naraghi in the Short Film section.
Atlanta Film Festival is one of only two-dozen Academy Award qualifying festivals in the U.S.
The festival is one of the largest and longest-running festivals in the country, welcoming an audience of nearly 25,000 to discover hundreds of new independent, international, animated, documentary, and short films, selected from more than 3000 submissions from all over the world.
Atlanta Film Festival screenings often include in-person dialog with filmmakers, providing audiences, artists and industry professionals with meaningful opportunities to network, interact and engage.
The 2017 Atlanta Film Festival will be held from March 24 to April 2, 2017 in Atlanta, US.
