Iran films to vie in Italy

Five Iranian short films are going to compete at 2017 Skepto International Film Festival.

‘A Moment’ directed by Naghi Nemati, Mehrdad Hasani’s ‘Daughter’ (Kech), Hossein Darabi’s ‘Gas Pipe’, ‘Just this Once’ by Mohammad Hasan Shahmohammadi and Masoud Hatami’s 'Survival' are five Iranian representatives in Skepto 2017.  

Skepto, from the Greek term for seeing and watching, is a non-profit cultural association focused on short films and has a competitive nature. Its main aim is to encourage and give exposure to independent filmmakers from all over the world by creating an open space for dialogue and intercultural exchange.

The festival is open to short films with no limits as to their subject, style or production budget.

The 2017 Skepto International Film Festival runs from May 10-13 in Cagliari, Italy.
