ifilm star Baran Kosari has joined new cinematic project titled ‘Popular’.
Actor in ‘The Third Day’ took on the project to make her second collaboration with movie director Soheil Beiraghi after their first successful hit ‘Cold Sweat’.
Kosari is an Iranian actress who was born to an artistic couple. Her father is film producer Jahangir Kosari and her mother is director Rakhshan Bani-E'temad.
She made her cinematic debut with ‘The World's Best Dad’ directed by Daryoush Farhang.
She has since appeared in a number of flicks including ‘The Spiritualists’, ‘Blue Scarf’, ‘Dancing in the Dust’, ‘Nothing’ and ‘Forced Blessing’.
Fr her artistic achievements, Baran has won a number of awards such as the Best Actress award at Fajr Film Festival in Iran for her role in the movie ‘Binam Alley’ and the Best Actress award at Carcassonne Film Festival in France.
‘Popular’ has recently launched shooting stage; and it is announced to the media that the film will attend the 38th edition of Fajr Film Festival in case it will be ready by then.
Fatemeh Motamed-Arya and Houtan Shakiba are also among the cast members of the film.
Although no details on the film story have been published yet, it is said that it will have a feminine story just like its director earlier two works ‘Cold Sweat’ and ‘Me’.
