The 36th Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF) has announced international jury members.
The jury members for the international competition section of the event is composed of some well-known figures in the field, including Gina Dellabarca, the art manager from New Zealand, Salvatore Finocchiaro from Belgium, Portuguese film director, producer, scriptwriter and cinema critics Joao Augusto Garcao Borges and Indian writer and cinema critic Shubhra Gupta.
Iranian researcher and university professor Ahmad Alasti is also on the international jury grid of the latest edition of the festival.
A total of 140 films from 25 countries have been selected to attend various sections of the festival.
For the first time, the Spotlight section of the Berlin International Film Festival in Germany presents four short films during the 36th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival.
The festival is being held in different sections, including national, international and special. This edition of the TISFF is hosting a new section dedicated to cinema and book.
Presided by Seyyed-Sadeq Mousavi, the 36th Tehran International short film festival is currently underway in Tehran and will wrap up on November 15, 2019.
