Iranian film ‘Knock Out’ has been nominated as favorite film at the China International Children’s Film Festival.
Directed by Gholamreza Ramezani, the short film has won the nomination at the Vote for My Favorites section of the event.
The film will be screened at the 2019 edition of the festival on December 17.
‘Knock Out’ portrays the story of three teenagers, each striving to become a champion of a reputable cup, although “the champion is not necessarily always the one who wins.”
Nasim Adabi, Afshin Hashemi, Nazanin Ahmadi, Sirous Hemmati, Majid Norouzi, Dorsa Bakhtiar, Sepehrad Farzami, Siavash Assadpour, and Hossein Lotfi are among the film’s cast.
The China International Children’s Film Festival (CICFF) 2019 aims to provide Chinese children an opportunity to understand different cultures from all over the world, present Chinese children’s life to international guests, and promote the global development of children’s films.
The 2019 edition of the festival is slated for December 14-18, 2019.
