Italy’s ‘Flavioh - Tributo a Flavio Bucci’ has set to participate at the 13th edition of the Cinema Verite, Iran's major documentary film festival.
‘Flavioh - Tributo a Flavio Bucci’, directed by Riccardo Zinna, will reportedly be screened at the festival’s Portrait section.
The documentary is about “the story of the famous Italian actor Flavio Bucci, seen first of all as a man and as an artist, in a journey on the road through places and people who had an influence on his personal and artistic life”.
Bucci is a star in a league of his own who shunned the trappings of stardom, he interpreted an infinite number of character types, co-produced Nanni Moretti's first film, married a real princess, and dubbed Travolta, Depardieu and Stallone.
Organized by the Documentary and Experimental Film Center, the first edition of the Cinema Verite was held in 2007.
Over the past decade it has emerged as one of the important events on Iran's documentary film calendar.
The 13th edition of the Cinema Verite will be held in Tehran on December 9-16, 2019.
