Shooting for ‘Ilda’ halfway complete

Filming for Iranian television series ‘Ilda’ produced and directed by Alireza Sebt-Ahmadi reaches the halfway mark, according to the director.

The next phase in the film’s shooting will involve more complicated scenes, Sebt-Ahmadi added.

With filming taking place in Iran’s Lorestan province, the production team has run into some delays due to recent changes in the local climate.

Written by Noushin Pirhayati, the 26-part series is a depiction of the life of Iranian’s living in the western part of the country during the eight-year US-backed Iraq war on Iran by Saddam Hussein.

Members of the cast include Pouriya Poursorkh, Majid Mozaffari, Fatemeh Goudarzi, Ali Dehkordi, Jafar Dehqan, and Amir-Mohammad Zand.
