Iranian short film ‘Silence’ has been set to attend the Laceno d’oro International Film Festival in Italy.
A number of 18 short films from around the globe will be in competition at the 44th edition of the Italian film event; and the Iranian short title directed by Vahhab Gaeeni is one of them.
“A factory worker has been made redundant at the place he worked and now he is about to get sacked”, a brief synopsis for the flick reads.
The main role of the 9-minute film has been portrayed by Amir Jenani.
The Laceno d’oro International Film Festival has three competition categories which are full-length and medium-length, short movies and documentaries.
This year edition of the event is slated for December 1-8 in Avellino, Italy.
