Iranian director Saman Hosseinpour has been a jury member at the (FIC) International Film Festival in Mexico.
The 4th edition of the festival which operates under the Mexican name of Festival Internacional de Cine Silente took advantage of Iranian award-winning filmmaker’s presence as a jury member.
The young and talented director has so far made a number of acclaimed short films including ‘Slaughter’. The film has already won huge amount of awards and nominations such as the Jury prize at the Rural Short Film Cmpetition, Mosterp in Spain, the Best Film Award at the Villammare Film Festival in Italy and the Best Short Film award at the International Independent Film Festival-Publicystyka in Poland.
Hosseinpour has also been a jury at several film events including being the jury president of the Early Bird International Film Festival in Bulgaria.
The (FIC) International Film Festival is an annual event which holds in the city of Puebla in Mexico. The event celebrates the great heritage of silent movies around the world.
This year's edition of the film festival was held on November 26-30.
