Iran actor Amir-Hossein Seddiq is a household name on the small screen. He is one of the actors in current ifilm series ‘Huge Problems 2’.
‘Hodhod Bookstore’, ‘The Enigma of the Shah’ and ‘21 Days Later’ are some of the most appealing titles in which he portrayed various roles.
In an interview conducted in the Persian language and translated for ifilm English Website, the actor noted that “Our audiences don’t have the patience to look at series in depth”, adding, “I prefer to play in comedy productions.”
He noted, however, that his efforts are presently directed to having directors and producers think beyond the comedy cliché in my case.
“I don’t want them to say that Amir-Hossein just fits into the comedy,” he said, adding, “I have played various roles in all these years, though I always did my best not to repeat roles in other works.”
Concerning the comedy actors he said, “I believe that comedy opens up a new window and requires more mental effort in acting to make people laugh,” noting that “It's harder to make people laugh than it is to make them cry.”
