‘Hoda’s House’ to vie in US

Directed by Hamed Qasemi, the Iranian short ‘Hoda’s House’ has been selected to compete at the 2020 Oregon State International Film Festival (OSIFF) in the US.

The short film narrates the story of a girl named Hoda who lives in Tehran. Hoda is surprised by her cousin’s arrival at her home. She is on the horns of a dilemma and tries to deal with the situation. But, her choice may be destructive.  

The OSIFF presents award-winning films from around the world. Most of the selected works are premiered at the Berlinale, the Cannes, and the Sundance.

The 2020 OSIFF is slated for January 10-14.
