‘Salman the Persian’ to start shooting

The shooting for new Iranian series ‘Salman the Persian’ is to kick off soon.

The movie directed by prominent Iranian filmmaker Davoud Mir-Baqeri will start capturing scenes in the city of Kerman in a few days.

Other locations of the series are Qeshm Island and Turkey.

‘Salman the Persian’ will depict the life of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) companion Salman the Persian. He was the first Persian who converted to Islam.

The biopic is currently going through final stages of pre-production.
