Int’l Storytelling Festival underway

The 22nd International Storytelling Festival is currently underway.

The final stage of the 2019 edition of the festival has started on December 17 and is underway in Tehran.

With the motto for this year’s festival being “The Future is Constructible”, the event will be divided into two sections of “Stage Storytelling” and “90-second Story (Film)”.

The “Stage Storytelling” section of the festival consists of a national and international competition.

Volunteers from various countries along with a selection of winners from previous festivals and professional narrators will be eligible to participate in the festival’s international competition.

A portion of the “Stage Storytelling” is dedicated to classical and traditional storytelling and another portion is dedicated to modern and innovative storytelling.

Single narrative storytelling in a 15-minute timeframe while being filmed in a long shot is among the requirements in order to participate in the “Stage Storytelling” competition.

The final stage of the event is slated for December 17-21, 2019.
