Hamid-Reza Qorbani’s second directorial experience ‘Bone Marrow’ has been submitted to the secretariat office of the 38th Fajr Film Festival.
Produced by Hossein Pourmohammadi, the film has pushed its luck to be among the selective titles to vie for Crystal Simorgh at the most prestigious Iranian film festival.
It is reported that the film has a social theme. The screenplay for the flick has been penned by Ali Zarnegar.
Parsa Pirouzfar, Parinaz Izadyar, Behrouz Shoeibi, Babak Hamidiyan and Javad Ezzati are some of the big names who have an appearance in the flick.
“What is your problem?! You are saying that it is not legal?! You think everything here has always been legal? Are we all correct? We have never made any mistake?’ reads as a plot summery to the film.
Qorbani’s debut feature was his 2016 ‘A House on 41st Street’ which won him nomination for Best Film at the New Look section of the 34th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
The 38th Fajr Film Festival will be running in Tehran from February 1 to 10, 2020.
