‘Varahram’ to head to Latvia

Iranian short ‘Varahram’ has made it to the Riga International Film Festival 2ANNAS in Latvia.

‘Varahram’ will be screened at the 24th edition of the Riga International Film Festival 2ANNAS which is scheduled for next February.

Directed by Mehdi Kamranirad, ‘Varahram’ tells the story of a little girl whose mother does not allow her to play with other children in their alley.

‘Varahram’ won the Best Film award at the April edition of the Diamond Film Awards in Italy.

It also received the Best Short award at the 8th OtherMovie Lugano Film Festival in Switzerland.

The Riga International Short Film Festival 2ANNAS is the oldest and one of the leading short film festivals in the Baltic States.

The 24th Riga International Film Festival 2ANNAS will take place on February 10-16, 2020.
