Renowned Iranian director Masoud Kimiaee is to direct new series project ‘Glass Corpses’.
This would be the first home market series directed by the prominent director.
‘Glass Corpses’ is based on Kimiaee’s novel with the same name which went popular in early 2000s.
The pre-production of the series is to begin soon and the stars will be introduced.
Masoud Kimiaee made his directional debut as an assistant director on Samuel Khachikian’s movie production ‘Good Bye Tehran’ (1968).
His 1969 ‘Kaiser’ was a box office success, greatly influencing the film industry. He has introduced many young new talents to the Iranian cinema.
He has written, directed and produced ‘The Deers’ (1974), ‘The Deal’ (1994), ‘Banquet’ (1995), ‘Mercedes’ (1997), ‘Friday Soldiers’ (2003), ‘The Verdict’ (2004) and ‘Metropol’ (2013).
