See General Soleimani at filming location

Major General Qassem Soleimani who was martyred last night had visited the filming location of Iran movie '23 People' (The 23).

Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), were killed in US airstrikes in the Iraqi capital Baghdad early on Friday.

In September 2019, the major general assassinated by the US president’s order went to the behind-scenes of war-themed flick 'The 23'. Based on the memoir ‘Those 23 Individuals’, the flick is a war drama depicting the true story of a group of Iranian teenage volunteer troops held captive by enemy soldiers in the early 1980s during Iraq-Iran war.
