Hamed Behdad to teach acting

The Fourth Child’ star Hamed Behdad is to teach acting lessons.

Launched by Bahman Motamedian, the acting workshop is to host Behdad as the guest teacher.

The workshop is to be held at Power of Silence acting institute.

Farhad Ayish and Soroush Sehhat are the other guest instructors at the workshop.

‘Castle of Dream’ star made his film debut in 2000 with the lead role in 'End Game', a role that won him a nomination for a Best Actor Crystal Simorgh at the 19th Fajr International Film Festival.

Behdad subsequently appeared in several movies, mostly taking supporting roles, but his outstanding performances won him several awards and nominations at different film festivals.

He won critical and popular acclaim for the wartime flick 'The Third Day' (2006). He was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role Crystal Simorgh at the 25th Fajr International Film Festival for his portrayal of an Iraqi officer in love with an Iranian girl during the Iran-Iraq war in this movie.

In 2010, Behdad finally won his first Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Masoud Kimiayi’s 'Crime' (2010).

Some of his other movies are 'Every Night Loneliness' (2007), 'Sa’adat Abad' (2010), 'The Orange Suit' (2011) and 'The Last Step' (2011).
