Iran short film ‘The City of Honey’ has been scheduled to attend the ifva Awards in china.
The 25th edition of the Chinese awards gala, which is to be held in Hong Kong, will be hosting Moein Rouholamini’s eight-minute short.
The film, which is in Arabic language, has been made in a village named Aliabad Kavir to simulate the children’s life in Syria. The story of the film revolves around two kids dreaming their future.
‘The City of Honey’ has so far attended several international events and won a number of awards including, the best film award from the Unknown Film Festival, the jury award at the Andaras Film Festival in Italy and the best actor award of the Elba Film Festival in Italy which went to the star of the film, Hassan Khoshhalat.
According to the official website of the event, this year edition of the awards ceremony is looking for the “hidden power of creativity, just like a little body could harbor a great soul to embrace whatever happened around the world, and chase any dreams that you’ve ever imagined.”
The 25th edition of the ifva Awards is slated for February 26 to March 7, 2020.
