Get to know most prolific actor in Fajr 2020

Star of ifilm series and movies, Mohammad-Javad Ezzati, has been named most prolific actor at 2020 Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

The great comedian/actor acted in ifilm series such as ‘What Goes Around, Comes Around’ (2011), ‘Chimney’ (2013), ‘Huge Problems 1’ (2014), and ‘Huge Problems 2’ (2015).

With the list of competing movies out for the Crystal Simorgh at the annual 2020 edition of Fajr, Ezzati will be considered as one of the hopefuls with high chances to win noms and awards. 

The actor has appeared in five movies on the list that include ‘Butterfly Stroke’ directed by Mohammad Kart, ‘Amphibian’ directed by Borzou Niknejad, ‘The Sun’ directed by Majid Majidi, ‘Atabay’ directed by Niki Karimi and ‘Bone Marrow’ directed by Hamid-Reza Qorbani.

Established in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.Since its establishment, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 38th Fajr Film Festival is set to kick off on February 1, 2020 and will run till February 11 in Tehran.
