‘The Feast of the Goat’ wins in Dhaka

Directed by Saeed Zamanian, ‘The Feast of the Goat’ has garnered Special Mention in Short Fiction Category at the 18th Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh.

The short’s synopsis reads “Children never forget anything”.

The film was nominated in France for the Paris Art and Movie Awards’ Best Short Script prize.

It has also been screened at film festivals in Spain and Bangladesh with a scheduled appearance at the UK’s Kinofilm Festival later this year.

Since 1977, the Dhaka fest has been promoting a healthy culture in the film industry in Bangladesh with the main theme of “Better Film, Better Audience, Better Society.”

This 18th edition of the event was slated for January 11-19, 2020.
