‘The Blue Bed’ bags award in Canada

Iran filmmaker Alireza Kazemipour has succeeded to bag award for his short film ‘The Blue Bed’ from the 10th edition of Vancouver Short Film Festival (VSFF).  

Also written by Kazemipour, the 10-min ‘The Blue Bed’ brought its director Best Directing award from the Canadian screening event.

The Vancouver Short Film Festival is committed to build ties between emerging and established professionals, and provide an arena where all short filmmakers, including students, can screen their films in public and support their fellow colleagues.

According to the festival’s official website, the ultimate goal is to connect short filmmakers to a broader audience in order to grow the local film industry.

The 10th edition of the event was held in Canada on January 25-26, 2020.
