The 38th edition of the Fadjr International Theater Festival (FITF) has announced the winners.
During the closing ceremony which was held on February 10 in Tehran, the winners of this year's edition of the FITF directed by Nader Borhani were announced and celebrated. Here are the three most important awards of the event.
‘A Stranger in the House’ directed by Seyyed-Mohammad Mosavat was picked as the Best Play of the event.
Amir Jadidi won the Best Actor award for his starring role in Reza Baharvand’s ‘Kingfish’.
And Iranian star Navid Mohammadzadeh took home the special award of the festival for his role in Mosavat’s ‘A Stranger in the House’.
The annual Fadjr International Theater Festival has been held in Iran since 1983, featuring local and international theatrical works and performers.
The FITF is held during the celebrations marking the anniversary of Iran's Islamic Revolution in 1979.
