The event titled “Iranian Short Film Month” hosts 9 Iranian short films.
‘Elephant’s Shadow’ tells the story of a young woman named Leila whose father is sick.
According to his doctors, Leila’s father has only a few days left to live.
His only concern is for Leila’s welfare as he knows how difficult life can be for a divorcee in Tehran.
Leila plans a scenario to let her father die peacefully.
Every week, two Iranian films are screened at the festival and an online Q&A session with the director is held.
Iranian Short Film Month is now underway and will continue to March 7 in the Turkish city of Izmir.
