The 12th Fajr Visual Arts Festival dedicated a special section to martyr Soleimani.
As part of the new section, Hassan Rouholamin’s painting of martyr Soleimani has gone on display in one of the exhibition rooms of the festival.
In the same section, a portrait and a bust of Lieutenant General Soleimani are being made in front of the audiences.
Abbas Barzgar-Ganji, taking part at the special section, said he is supposed to finish the portrait of martyr Soleimani by the end of the festival.
Ganji noted that he selected a photo of the “Commander of Hearts” that shows "his strength and kindness".
“It is an honor for us to be seen besides his picture,” he added.
Meanwhile, the bust of martyr Soleimani is being made by the sculpturer Ali Lavaee.
Lieutenant General Soleimani, who was the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), was assassinated along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), as well as eight other people in a US drone strike at Baghdad’s international airport on January 3.
The 12th edition of the Fajr Visual Arts Festival kicked off on February 18 and will run until February 24.
